A Spotlight on the KEEPCARING Consortium: Meet CHINO and CNR

At the heart of the KEEPCARING project lies a multidisciplinary consortium dedicated to supporting healthcare professionals’ wellbeing and resilience. Our partners bring diverse expertise – from research and design to legal-tech innovation – all with a shared commitment to improving working conditions in surgical pathways across Europe. In this article, we shine a spotlight on two outstanding partners: CHINO SRL and the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR).

CHINO SRL

CHINO SRL is a pioneering Italian company at the intersection of legal-tech and cloud security, supporting HealthTech companies in meeting stringent data protection and compliance requirements. With increasing digitization in healthcare, CHINO ensures that privacy and ethical concerns are addressed at every step of data management.

As the lead on ethics, legal, and user acceptance within the KEEPCARING project, CHINO SRL ensures that our digital innovations are not only effective but also secure, ethical, and compliant.

At the helm is Jovan Stevovic, PhD, CEO of CHINO. Jovan holds a doctorate in Computer Science, with a focus on healthcare services design that integrates privacy, security, and regulatory compliance. He previously worked on developing Electronic Health Record systems for the Province of Trento and co-authored a patent on compliance-aware medical data sharing with researchers from HPLabs, Palo Alto.
